For Passengers

Your aircraft is grounded.
Your journey isn't.

FlightRecovery.io is an alliance of private aviation operators who have agreed to something rare in business: when an aircraft breaks down, they help each other's passengers get where they're going.

Charter passengers walking from their car to a private jet, crew waiting at the stairs

Here's the truth about private aviation that nobody puts in a brochure: even the best-maintained aircraft occasionally needs an unscheduled repair — sometimes far from home, sometimes right where the trip begins. For decades, the answer was hours of phone calls while passengers waited. FlightRecovery.io was built to give operators a better tool: a network where the recovery plan exists before the problem does, worked with the same calm, methodical professionalism you see in your flight crew. The operators who participate have made a commitment — to each other, and to their passengers — that a grounded aircraft shouldn't ground the day.

What happens when things go wrong

01

Something breaks

Aircraft are machines, and machines occasionally need parts. In aviation it's called AOG — Aircraft on Ground. It's rare, and its cost is usually measured in exactly one thing: your schedule.

02

The alliance already knows

If your operator is a FlightRecovery.io member, recovery options were mapped before your flight ever departed. The network continuously tracks which member aircraft — across many companies — could step in, where, and how fast.

03

The alliance answers

Your operator requests help, and another alliance operator answers. Not as a favor. As a commitment every member signs: help today, be helped tomorrow.

04

Your journey continues

A replacement aircraft with a professional crew takes you the rest of the way — coordination measured in minutes on the network instead of hours on the phone.

What alliance membership means for you

🛩️ You stay in private aviation

The alliance exists to keep your trip a private aviation trip. Instead of defaulting to airline seats, your operator can draw on member aircraft across the network — subject, like everything in aviation, to crew duty limits and aircraft availability. Every new member adds options.

🛩️ Vetted operators only

Every alliance member is a certificated FAA Part 135 operator, verified for certificate standing, insurance, and safety history against written Alliance Standards. The aircraft that comes for you is held to the same bar as the one that brought you.

🛩️ Your privacy is protected

Operators can't browse each other's client lists through the network — ever. When a recovery is arranged, your operator shares your information directly with the recovering operator for exactly one purpose: the security screening every charter operator must complete before boarding you. Alliance rules prohibit any use beyond your flight.

🛩️ Professional, calm handling

Your crew focuses on you while coordination happens quietly behind the scenes — the same calm, methodical professionalism you see in the cockpit, carried through to the handoff, operator to operator.

One question to ask before your next flight

"Are you a member of the FlightRecovery.io Alliance?" It's the difference between an operator with a plan for the bad day and one with a phone book. If your operator isn't a member yet, they're welcome to apply — membership is open to Part 135 operators who meet the Alliance Standards.

Flight Completion through Mutual Aid — operators helping operators, for the benefit of the passenger.
